Weave Song (2009)
Weave Song is a collaborative art project between sculptor Sunn Thunders and me that combines the kinetic movement of a sculpture with ambient sound. The resulting blend of motion and music adds a dimension to the artwork that please the senses. You may visit this piece at SunnTee Arts Gallery as well as at the HD Artists Concert Hall.
Two years ago Sunn Thunders completed one of his very first kinetic sculptures, Guarded Secret. It’s always been a favorite of his, and many people have honored him by purchasing a copy of their own. So, how to update an old favorite? How about teaming together with a musician to add sound to the contemplative, mysterious motion. Composer Flivelwitz Alsop of HD Artists and he are proud to present Guarded Secret Machine, a steamy and sonorous version of a familiar, comfortable piece of artwork.

Mahakala
Number 2 in a series of wall sound hangings. This lovely dark-red kinetic sculpture is of Tibet: Mahakala. The protector of Dharma. The sculpture was designed by Alizarin Goldflake and can be seen at her atelier.
